VenueThe name Kapalua means “twin arms embracing the sea”, referring to the famous Kapalua Bay. Kalalua is more than a beautiful location. The famous symbols, the butterfly logo and the stately cook pines, are a unique part of the heritage. Within the butterfly logo is a pineapple, referring to the agricultural roots, a working pineapple plantation which even today supplies pineapples locally and to the mainland. The cook pines which line the roads remind one of the distinct nature of this part of Maui. Kapalua is set amidst a 23,000 acre pineapple plantation, surrounded by natural sanctuaries, rain forests, and some of the most splendid beaches in the world. The meeting hotel is the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua on Maui. TransportationKahului, HI (OGG) is the primary airport on the island of Maui.
