The JSPS core-to-core program "International Research Network on Exotic Femto Systems (EFES)", the Todai-RIKEN Joint International Program for Nuclear Physics (TORIJIN) and the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) at Michigan State University are jointly organizing a small workshop on

Future Prospects for Spectroscopy and Direct Reactions

The purpose of the workshop is to initiate and develop physics cases with upcoming heavy-ion spectrometers (for instance SHARAQ) in the field of structure of exotic nuclei and related problems.

The workshop will be held at NSCL on February 26-28 and will combine talks on current theoretical issues together with those on recent experimental results and the plans for new experiments.

Persons wishing to attend the workshop should send an email to the workshop secretary (fp2008@nscl.msu.edu). There is no registration fee.
