Pre-college science teachers
and High School Students

PAN is a program organized by the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) located on the campus of Michigan State University.

PAN 2004 has been completed. Check out the picture gallery of teachers and students working on their cosmic ray experiments. Teachers can find some of the materials used in PAN on our "Lectures & Materials" page, for example to put together a lecture on nuclear physics, astrophysics, the origin of the elements, or cosmic rays.

PAN 2004 is sponsored by JINA, the NSCL, and the National Science Foundation.
