Physics of Atomic Nuclei 2000

 PAN is a summer fellowship program for secondary school teachers and students at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.  PAN 2000 explored topics in nuclear physics by examining cosmic rays.  PANticipants constructed two types of cosmic ray detectors and used these detectors to conduct investigations while learning about cosmic rays, particle detection, nuclear science and cyclotron physics.  

PAN presenters are faculty of MSU's Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Department of Chemistry.
