PAN is a program organized by JINA (Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics) at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL)—one of the world's leading nuclear physics laboratories—located on the campus of Michigan State University.

The PAN experience includes:

  • Learn about forefront research in one of the leading nuclear physics laboratories in the world.
  • Get introduced to the fascination of astrophysics, cosmology, and nuclear science.
  • Perform your own nuclear physics experiments.
  • Experience the atmosphere of one of the biggest university campuses in the country.

PAN 2005 was sponsored by JINA, the NSCL, and the National Science Foundation.
