The Radioactive Nuclear Beams series of meetings provides an international forum to foster collaboration and information sharing among the leaders in the production and use of rare isotope beams. Topics of the conference are forefront of nuclear theory, rare-isotope production facilities and techniques, and ground breaking experimental results in the field.

The 8th meeting will be hosted by the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan in May 2009.
