Registration

In conjunction with the Fall Meeting of the DNP in East Lansing during October 9-12, 2002, the NSCL Users' Executive Committee is organizing a User Workshop on Sunday, October 13, 2002. The Workshop will run from 9 AM to 3 PM. It is open to all users and potential users, and there is no charge for attending it. It will be structured to provide:

• Current status of the NSCL accelerators and experimental equipment;
  
• Results from some of the new measurements;
  
• Status of the next call for proposals;
  
• A forum for NSCL users, both present and prospective, to interact with each other, start discussions on possible collaborative projects, and come up with suggestions for desired additional capabilities at the facility.

The Users' Executive Committee solicits your input on the topics to be discussed at the Workshop. Please send your comments to the Chair of the Committee, Robert Varner at varner@phy.ornl.gov.
